As a student who began their journey in education in Dallas Independent School District, I am proud to continue the work that is done in this district as the Principal at Arcadia Park Elementary School. I consider it an honor to serve as an educator alongside teachers who are masters of their craft and students who desire academic excellence. I have had the opportunity to teach in Dallas and abroad in Seoul, South Korea, support as an Interventionist, and lead as an Assistant Principal. I earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and Elementary Education from Texas A&M University-Commerce. My Master’s of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies is from University of Texas at Arlington.

I believe that children are the heartbeat of the school, yet understand that teachers are their greatest support. It is my hope and desire to engage the leaders of the future with tools of the future by creating spaces with authentic experiences that support their growth and success beyond the walls of the classroom. This begins with relationship because as stated by James Comer, “No significant learning occurs without a significant relationship.” With this in mind, we will continue to support students to reaching their fullest potential. My greatest joys include family, travel, and not merely existing, but living on purpose and for purpose.
